Sami is 100% healthy at present as the team prepares to head south for
a 3 game in 4 day road trip starting in Pittsburgh then heading down to
Florida for games against Tampa Bay and the Panthers. Senators injury woes continue
with Daniel Alfredson out witha Hip Pointer Injury but may play on the road trip.
Patrick Lalime is out with a slightly sprained MCL in his left knee. He will be
re-evaluated today to determine whether he will make the trip south. And Ricard
Persson is out for 4-6 weeks after taking a shot to his right ankle which broke the ankle.
The injury forces rookie defenceman Karel Rachunek back inot the line up.

Sami and the Senators took on the Atlanta Thrashers Sunday and after having leads of
3-0 after the first and 5-1 early in the second period the Senators collapsed and relinquished
a certain 2 points and came away with a 6-6 tie. Salo got an Assist on Rob Zamauner's 6th goal of the year
and the 1st of the game.
